Having a background interest in advanced technology, he went to Australia in 2018 for training in robotic-assisted arthroplasty. Robotic-assisted unicompartmental knee replacement, total knee and total hip replacement were then first performed in 2019 in Hospital Authority's Kowloon East Cluster.
